Blade signs are often identified by a series of other names, such as projecting signs, flag signs, and/or pedestrian signs. No matter what the name, this type of sign serves the same purpose and that is to give a building or store greater visibility for oncoming traffic. They are often found projected off a building facade and are mounted perpendicularly to a street or walkway. They can either be produced in a large scale to identify big buildings or stores, or they can be produced at a smaller scale as a compliment to the main sign of a building or storefront. This type of sign can be used for both indoor or outdoor application.
